- and I wonder what He's doing. These are the times that I sincerely hope He has Lucifer keeping him company.
Suvvro da - I don't think I'd have typed those words if anybody else had told me to, and my curiosity got the better of me here. There was one funny, scary and appropriate comment, "this is how Victoria Beckham is going to look in half a century". I can't imagine how the pixie-like Victoria is going to look like but I thought I was looking at a horrible Madame Tussauds' gone wrong with the first photo that showed up.
Apparently, she is "awesome". The choice of words (or rather the lack of it) for description and the phenomenon quiet befit each other I suppose. One might think that one would get tired of this sort of attention-seeking as one gets older, but clearly not. This is the sort of thing that makes you wonder, is there no end to human vanity? This is probably a less reassuring practical realization of the adage "Growing old is compulsory, but growing up is optional." At any rate, someone has decided to take it very literally. And it is times like this when it hits me harder than ever, "Good God, this planet is a mess."
I am 61, and for 22 years now a confirmed home-bird. I read, write, teach, counsel, listen to music, exercise, watch movies, have fun with kids including my own, have tried to be a good husband, think all the time, and generally endeavour to live the good life as I have understood it. It's tough, and it's been a long trudge.

Dear Sir,
