A dead shark was found abandoned in a New York train, AP reports via my daily newspaper today; see this. Whatever will they report next?
Perhaps it did rain real cats and dogs somewhere sometime?
'Die, Sir? Why, that's the last thing I shall do!'

Ha ha - I suddenly read this now. I was expecting a gigantic Jaws pressing against a coach full of scared passengers. I do wonder how the shark landed there though. It couldn't have come with the rains and ended up in a subway coach. Maybe that little shark came from a shopping bag. Some Sushi place or a restaurant serving shark fin soup has one little shark missing because the absent minded shopper on the subway lost the little shark...?
The shark is not the only odd animal to end up in a bus, it seems: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2013/13/130808-subway-shark-animals-monkey-bird-coyote-pigeon-cat/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=Social&utm_content=link_fb20130809news-sharksub&utm_campaign=Content
